We take a lot of things for granted and seldom do we ask the question “why”? I have to wonder how we became so lazy as to not better express ourselves. Having worked with college students for the past 25 years, I saw an actual degradation in this relatively short period of time with the misuse of the English language. Being able to accurately describe your thoughts to another should encompass a wide vocabulary in order to paint the colorful picture you wish to convey.
Quality Results
It is the direction and mission of this website to simply bring to your attention the limited number of words our younger generations are using to describe the way they interpret the world around them. Not only are they abbreviating their choice of words but are also using acronyms in place of those very words so as to not have to text as much. LOL
Experience
How often do we hear of children spending time preparing for their school spelling bee? Not only should they know how to spell the word provided but also be aware of the nation of origin as well as the definition. Many words sound alike, so it is important to know which word the person needs to be able to spell.
